As time passed and his fellowship grew, Bishop Hightower received several visions from the Lord, all of which gave credence to various scripture passages. Two passages, in particular, led Bishop Hightower to formally name his congregation “The House of God Saints in Christ, Incorporated”. God sent several anointed individuals to assist Bishop Hightower and his expanding fellowship including his eventual successor, Bishop J. L. Litman, Sr. and me, Bishop Lorenzo Moore.

Prior to his death in 1971, Bishop Hightower was fortunuate to place certain people who would be able and willing to carry on his Church. As it now stands, The House of God Saints in Christ, Incorporated is led by those who continually keep his vision alive and hope to do so for generations to come.

The Church has home pastors located throughout the United States in approximately 8 states. Nationally, Church membership continues to grow into the twenty-first century.
